Under the Radar Job Search

There is no shame in keeping your options open when it comes to employment.  But how can you do so without causing a rift with your present employer?  Truthfully, we should all be marketing our award winning product on a daily basis regardless of how happy we are with our present employer.  What is that product?  Ourselves!  Where can we market ourselves?  As always, I’m a huge fan of developing personal relationships although there is also room for other forms of networking as well.

The New York Times had a great article in today’s Career Couch on this subject, although I think they put a bit too much emphasis on Linked In which I consider only a moderately helpful networking tool.  Check out more of their advice by clicking here:  NYT Career Couch
